Abalone with Lettuce Recipe

Ingredients :

Sliced abalone

Straw mushrooms

Lettuce

Peanut oil

Green onions, cut 2 cm length

Ginger root

Stock

Oyster sauce

Soy sauce

Cornflour

Sesame oil

Sugar

Method :
  • Cut the mushrooms in half.

  • Blanch the lettuce leaves in boiling water, remove and drain.

  • Put the lettuce on a serving plate.

  • Heat the wok and add 2 tablespoons oil.

  • Stir-fry the green onions and ginger root until fragrant.

  • Add the mushrooms and stir lightly.

  • Add the abalone, stock, oyster sauce, soy sauce, cornflour, sesame oil and sugar.

  • Stir quickly over high heat.

  • Put the abalone over the lettuce and serve.
