Stuffed Green Capsicum Recipe

Ingredients :

Fish fillet

Small round green capsicum


Rice wine or dry sherry

Soy sauce



Garlic, crushed

Crushed black bean sauce


Method :
  • Finely chop the pork and fish.

  • Mix with a little salt and cornflour.

  • Wash the green capsicum, cut them in half and remove the seeds and stalks.

  • Stuff them with the meat and fish mixture, sprinkle with a little cornflour.

  • Heat up 1 tablespoon oil in a flat frying pan.

  • Put in the stuffed capsicum, meat side down and fry gently for 4 minutes, adding a little more oil from time to time.

  • When the meat side turns golden, add the crushed garlic, bean sauce, rice wine or sherry, sugar and a little stock or water.

  • Simmer for 2-3 minutes, then add soy sauce and a little cornflour mixed with cold water.

  • Serve as soon as the gravy thickens.
