Fried French Beans with Red Chilies Recipe

Ingredients :

Seasonings

2 teaspoons

1/2 teaspoon

1 teaspoon

French beans

Dried red chili

Peanut oil

Garlic, chopped

Fresh ginger, chopped

Dried shrimp, chopped

Dark soy sauce

Water

Sesame oil

Vinegar

 

 

Rice wine

Salt

Sugar

Method :
  • Trim the beans and cut each one in half.

  • Chop the chili into small pieces.

  • Heat the pan until it is very hot.

  • Add the peanut oil.

  • Fry the French beans and remove after 30 seconds.

  • Drain the oil away.

  • Heat 1 tablespoon oil in pan, add the chopped garlic, ginger and dried shrimp and stir-fry until fragrant (about 30 seconds).

  • Add the seasonings and French beans to the pan and sauté for a further 30 seconds.

  • Add soy sauce and water and simmer over low heat until the sauce has almost evaporated.

  • Add the sesame oil and vinegar and sauté for a short while longer over high heat.

  • Serve.
