Mushrooms with Black Beans Recipe

Ingredients :

1 cup

1 3/4 cup (14oz)


2 cloves

4  tablespoons

4 tablespoons

1/4 teaspoon

1/2 teaspoon

3 tablespoons

Sliced mushrooms

Canned black beans

Medium size onion

Garlic, crushed and minced

White cooking sherry

Vegetable broth

Black pepper



Method :
  • Sauté onions and garlic in the sherry, vegetable broth and tamari until the onions are translucent.

  • Add the mushrooms, black pepper and cumin and sauté for about 5 minutes.

  • Add the remaining ingredients and cook for about 20-30 minutes or until done.

  • Serve hot with white steamed rice.
