Stir-Fried Snow Peas Recipe

Ingredients :


225 g

3 tablespoons

1 teaspoon

1 teaspoon

Dried Chinese mushrooms

Snow peas




Method :
  • Soak the dried mushrooms in warm water for 30 minutes.

  • Squeeze dry and discard the hard stalks.

  • Keep the water.

  • Cut each mushroom into small pieces.

  • Wash and trim the snow peas.

  • If large, they should be snapped in half.

  • Smaller ones can be left whole.

  • Heat the oil in a very hot wok or large frying-pan until smoking.

  • Cook the peas by stir-frying for a few seconds.

  • Then add the mushrooms, the salt and sugar and continue stirring for about 30 seconds.

  • Add a little of the water in which the mushrooms were soaked.

  • Serve as soon as the liquid starts to boil.
